holiday season

It's that time of year again of course you might have thought you missed christmas seeing how many department stores had a lot of christmas items up and out around halloween time. I enjoy this time year as its the only time we as people are actually able to get along with each other. Granted these days you don't mind standing in long lines because someone at the register decided to make their payment with a check.(who is still carrying those into the store with them, i surely hell don't)  This holiday cheer is shared everywhere as the many unemployed earlier this that were swearing at their local postman for delivery their unemployed check late or even the next day is now giving them a reprieve but only for this time of year, lets see if that keeps up on jan. 5, 2009. which is more than i can say for our big banks out there, who are pinching pennies and not giving loans for the many that may need or want them.  What about the most important part of christmas, no not the part about "Christ's birth" but the gifts yes the gifts. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas if people aren't buying gifts and sharing and caring, wait that sounds like something from a episode of the "Care bears". Not many people spending this year as we are seeing more retailers dropping faster into bankruptcy than roaches dying from "Raid". Some shoppers can't help themselves stating "So what i go into more debt, so what I'm using my unemployment check to buy the mail man and his wife a gift "its the season to be sharing". Speaking of sharing no one knows more about sharing then the less unfortunate hence the raise in petty theft, breaking and entering and robberies this time of year.  Yes there is nothing like a getting a criminal record as the perfect gift to oneself for the holidays. I'm sure the common criminal uses the Al Bundy adage "its only cheating, if you get caught". i think that adage is used far more by the big wigs in our government. Sure the senate and the house saw that the economy was falling by the waist side, but they turned their attention to more pressing things like who is taking steriods or HGH in Major league baseball  (MLB), yeah we have people losing their homes and more people losing there jobs, who cares we need to know how barry bonds in his later years is able to hit so many home runs in a season we can't allow this to happen any more we need to spend the same tax payers dollar that have given their money to pay to see Bonds break the record, who didn't mind him using the illegal substance in the first place. enough of me ranting and my disgruntlement, happy holidays to and to all be safe.
